ABOUT USPresent Tense Productions was founded in May 2007 and was set up to produce contemporary theatre in Aberdeen. There was an absence of avant-garde theatre in the North-East of Scotland and founding members, dramatist Wendy Smith, actor Matthew Thomson and marketing manager Ross Brechin, aimed to fill the void by producing gutsy, edgy and alternative works. We are committed to producing theatre of the highest quality. Experienced teams of accomplished local actors are cast in plays, and work towards the achievement of consistently excellent performances and personal development. We are committed to using the best talent in Aberdeen, not just in acting, but in all areas of performance and production.
